World Cup Wheelchair Fencing in The Netherlands with Paralympic medal winners
Next week Pagedal in The Netherlands will be the arena for more than 130 athletes from over 20 countries during the World Cup Wheelchair Fencing. Around them are 25 Rio2016 Paralympic medal winners. They will compete in the World Cup U17, U23 and Senior. The World Cup is powered by conference centre Pagedal, International Wheelchair and Amputee Sports Federation (IWAS) and the Royal Dutch Fencing Federation KNAS (Koninklijke Nederlandse Algemene Schermbond). Paralympic medal winners

Beatrice Vio
Beatrice “Bebe” Vio is one of the Paralympic medal winners coming to the Netherlands. The Italian fencer is famous worldwide and shook the hand of the Pope and former president Obama. She was called an inspiring and perfect example by Ruud Gullit (former soccer player) in the Dutch RTL Late Night television show. Also 55 years old Robert Citerne from France will compete at this World Cup. The oldest fencer at Rio2016 doesn’t want to think about retirement. Citerne won his first medal at the Paralympic Games in Seoul 1988. In Rio he won gold with his team.

Female: Yu Chu Yee (achieved the most medals in fencing) & Justine Charissa NG (Hong Kong), Yevheniia Breus (Ukraine), Saysunee Yana (Thailand), Zsuzsanna Krainjak, Amarilla Veres, Eva Andrea Hajmasi & Dani Giyongy (Hungary), Andrea Mogos & Loredana Trigilia (Italy).
